Dr. Chandrashekhar Thodupunuri is a cardiologist, researcher, and healthcare innovator with expertise in gut-brain science, microbiome medicine, and personalized healthcare. He is the Founder of Resplice Institute, leads India’s first stool bank, serves as the Principal Investigator for an ICMR-approved FMT clinical trial for autism, and is a pioneer in AI-integrated multi-omics diagnostics. He is also the author of Rebuilding from Root – Environment, Microbiome & Autism (2025) and a recipient of the Atal Achievement Award and Global Healthcare Achievement Award.

Significant Progress in Our Son's Development
• Speech and Communication: We are so grateful for the speech therapy team's efforts. My Son has progressed from speaking simple words to using simple four-word sentences. He can now name his therapists and is engaging in speech more frequently.
• Behavioral Therapy: We have seen a significant reduction in head-banging behavior and an overall positive change in his behavior. He has also started playing with other children, showing marked improvement in his social interactions.
• Physiotherapy: There has been a noticeable improvement in the mobility of my Son’s left hand and a strengthening of his left leg. We are also thankful for the valuable interventions suggested by the therapists, such as leg height correction and elbow splints.
• Occupational Therapy and Special Education: My Son now eats independently (with food mixed) and drinks water on his own (NOT 100% but 70-80%). We’ve also seen gradual improvements in his daily living activities, and we appreciate the extended support in ensuring he receives his medication on time.

• Medical Team: The on-site medical support is a major advantage. Dr. Chandrashekar has been extremely helpful with gut-related issues and confirming neuro medication, while Dr. Narayana has been supportive during times of illness.
• Therapists: We appreciate that each department has multiple therapists. This allows children to mingle and connect with different individuals, rather than becoming dependent on just one therapist.
• Admin Staff: The administrative team is supportive, approachable, and flexible, which has made our experience stress-free.
Unique Advantages of the Center
We believe that Resplice CDC stands out from other centers for several reasons. Having comprehensive medical support and therapists in one location is a huge benefit. We also value the transparency provided by the CCTV access for parents of children in the school model.
Additionally, the occupational therapy department is extensive and equipped with the latest tools to give children a broad range of exposure.
